About Sarah Dorger

Sarah grew up in Mobile, Alabama, graduating from Baker High School, before earning her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Spring Hill College in 1997.  From there, Sarah attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center of Louisiana State University, earning her Juris Doctorate in 2000.

She is licensed in three states, Alabama, Florida, and Louisiana. Sarah came back to Mobile in 2000 to begin her legal career, where she has worked on civil cases, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury claims, insurance defense and coverage disputes, commercial and business litigation, shareholder disputes, and complicated document-intensive litigation.

Sarah recently began representing many small businesses in navigating their eligibility and applying for the Employee Retention Tax Credits or Employee Retention Credits, tax credits available to small businesses impacted by the pandemic in 2020 and 2021.  Sarah has maintained her own practice on the Eastern Shore since 2016, and before then, she worked with small law firms in Mobile.

Married to Scot Dorger, they have two teenagers who keep their parents busy with school and extracurricular activities.  In her free time, Sarah enjoys time with her family and friends, the beach, and visiting out west any chance she gets.
